A Flemish verdure tapestry, 18th century, depicting a woman and her dog in a doorway, waving to a cavalier; a grouping of a peacock, a turkey and twin pheasants on right; a pond with twin ducks on right front; the rear right with an avenue of trees, the whole within a floral swag border woven in blues and greens, 124" x 72"w, Provenance: Estate of Frank J. Caufield (San Francisco, CA). Mr. Caufield was one of the founding partners of the venture capital firm Kleiner, Perkins Caufield, and Byers.
