Description
SHELDON SWIRL KEROSENE STAND LAMP, blue opalescent Reverse Swirl font, colorless leaf patterned base, medium size, No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 1 "BING" slip burner with a glass deflector and colorless slip chimney with a serrated-scalloped rim. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 8 1/4" H to top of collar, 4 1/2" D foot.
Lamp in very good condition overall with a chip, scattered flaking and a bruise to the base, some minor corrosion to the collar; chimney having a couple sliver chips and a sizeable loss to the fitter.
