Late 19th century/Early20th century, deer hide, Wild West Show Costume; (1) Jacket; Iroquois floral beading in colors of blue, green, white, clear, pink and mustard on bib collar and turned cuffs, leather fringed collar, cuffs and hem. (2) Skirt; A-line, placket skirt with double row of fringe at hem, fringed sides, matching beaded hemline with the addition of American flags, skirt measures, 29.5" long inc. fringe, 27" wide at hem, and a 25" waist line. Both pieces are soft and pliable, machine and hand-stitched, with small areas of wear, two old repairs and a few small holes. These costumes are rare and this one is considered in good condition for its age.
