American Late Classical Mahogany Daybed

19th century, fitted with a Fortuny brocade cushion and matching bolsters, the bed exuberantly carved with a "rolling pin" crest on the paneled headboard and footboard, supported by acanthus-carved columns, the rails with a molded perimeter edge, raised on robustly modeled and carved feet.

In overall very good condition. Very sturdy. Minor scuffs around the legs from age and use. Nicely carved. Appears to retain its original finish with a good overall patina.
