Description
Set of four Korean framed painted silk panels, Joseon dynasty (1392-1897), late 19th century, depicting a mountainous landscape probably with Geumgangsan (Diamond Mountain) in the distance, throughout with flowers and birds including ducks, geese, magpies, and Durumi Hak red-crowned white cranes, possibly originally part of a Irworobongdo folding screen. Framed 57.5” H x 18.75” W x 1” D. Provenance: By repute, Christie's auction 1996
