Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, ca. 1070 to 332 BCE. A fabulous and wearable necklace composed of hundreds of glazed faience beads in tubular and discoid forms in rainbow hues. The upper strand of beads is composed of dozens of petite discoid beads, while the lower body consists of 14 strands of drooping tubular beads. A stunning combination of ancient art and modern style!
