19th century framed hand-colored engraving depicting the Marriage of Pocahontas at Jamestown after the original painting by Henry Brueckner (American, 19th c.).
Engraved and published by John C. McRae c.1855 H. Peters, N.Y.
Professionally framed (wood) and matted under glass.
Dimensions: framed: 36 in. x 45 3/4 in., sight: 26 in. x 35 1/2 in.
Condition: good original framed estate condition, minor age related imperfections noted, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: New Paltz, New York Estate.
