In 1980, this table received design awards from the Institute of Business Designers and the Industrial Designers Society of America and in 1981, Time magazine named this design one of the year's best for Industrial Design.

Provenance: Acquired from Herman Miller in 2005 by the present owner

Frames has light wear throughout consisting of a light scuffing and a few small impressions. The enameled paint on most feet has generally worn off. One plant stand has play within its connection to the frame along with a small loss to its edge. The other plant stand has a fissure spanning the entire width of it. Velcro circular pads have come off of the glass tabletop surfaces that help hold each piece of glass more securely in place. New ones should be sourced and added prior to use. All three glass pieces are free of any chips or losses. Overall this table is in good vintage condition.
