.50 CTW Diamond Open Heart Necklace. 10kt/14kt Gold. Yellow gold. The chain is 18" herringbone chain marked .585, Italy and Star 325 1/1. Yellow gold. It is appx 1.2mm wide. Weight of the chain only is appx. 1.96 grams. The pendant is appx. 2.06 grams about 3/4" tall and 2/3" wide. It is marked 10kt an signed AC. It has 20 diamonds in the outer frame of the heart that are appx. 1.5mm-1.7mm across. The diamonds are round and prong-set. This is not a low-end necklace - more mid-range. The diamonds are H/I and only slightly included. The thickness of the pendant is about 4.5mm thick. The Depth cannot be measured due to setting. This comes in a white hinged jeweler's box. It looks new but it is from the 1980's. This came from a PA estate. The consignor of the estate advised the was .50 ctw per jeweler's papers which they did not provide.
