Description

Oil on Linen Painting,Pauline J. Snyder Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo. This is a charming summer scene of families visiting a snack bar at Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo. Your eyes are drawn inwards then down to the girl who is entertained by the pigeons on the ground. It is delicately painted and has a nice illustrative look. This painting is most likely done in oil on hand-stretched linen over wooden stretcher bars. It is signed Pauline J. Snyder and dated, 1973.

Dimensions are 36 in h x 45 in w x .75 in d. Condition is very good. The linen is slightly fraying in the back and tape was once placed on the frame to hold the linen back. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
