Francisco Goya (Spanish, 1746-1828), burnished drypoint etching, plate 77 titled 'Que se Rompe la Cuerda' from the 1868 publication 'Los Desastres de la Guerra'.
Dimensions are: Frame size: 15 3/8 inches tall X 16 5/8 inches wide; 39.05 cm tall X 42.22 cm wide. Sight area: 7 3/8 inches tall X 9 1/8 inches wide; 18.73 cm tall X 23.17 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: No noted damage to the etching.
Provenance: From a Northern Virginia collection.
