KURD BIDJAR RUG: 10’7” X 17’0”
Circa 1925-1930
Tekke Bokhara field includes midnight blue, slate blue, red, orange and ivory guls on a traditional dark red field. Multiple yellow, red, ivory and blue borders contain Bidjar motifs, delicate flowering vine and turtles, all rendered in blues, red, brown, tan, orange and ivory.

Condition
One corner with vast and sever moth damage to pile. Reverse reveals many square feet of reinforced with a latex and rubber patch. Several seams along warped threads indicate possible reduction in length. Similar situation at the other end but without the latex patch. Wear to the rest of the rug commensurate with age.
