Description
East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, ca. late 19th century CE. A beautiful pair of blue and white porcelain beaker vases, each exhibiting a conical foot, a slender, cylindrical body with a thick central band, and a wide, flared rim. Intricately painted, the exterior of each vessel is embellished by an avian and floral motif along the top section, a lotus flower design on the central band, and a palm leaf pattern on the bottom register. Size (both the same): 8.25" in diameter x 15.375" H (21 cm x 39.1 cm)
