Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue & White Reversed Dragon Motif Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick, large, raised on correspondence footed ring base and slight concave. The dish wall is finely carved in clean white base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted of Imperial dragon are borne in floating clouds, flame, above Lishui waves. Which attracting unceasingly admiration. The clouds and dragon patterns are vivid and have distinctive characteristics of the times. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
