Ca. 1000-1200 AD. Viking Age. A rare long lance-style iron spearhead with long flared socket. Good condition; custom-made stand included. Spears were an important component of Viking military equipment as their lightweight nature meant they could be used both in hand-to-hand combat and as a thrown weapon.
