Description
English, early 20th century. Late Georgian style oak corner or roundabout chair with ornate carved cherub face, dolphin form splats, eagle motif arms, and ball and claw feet. Apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Estate of Aimee Lacey Champion of Fairmount, Georgia. Approx. h. 32.875", w.18.5", d. 25.5".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Repair to front leg with visible crack, loss to cushion fill, fading to needlepoint, loose splat, small dark spots on upholstery and minor scuffs / scratches to legs / feet.
