Issued to solders and air force service men for WW2 and into the 1950’s. Commonly referred to as the Watch That Won The War! The dial is in excellent condition, case back has all the expected markings visible and unpolished. Movement, is 16 jewel, the serial number T417496 dates the watch to 1943. The canvas strap is not original to this watch, but is a military issue strap.

Because this watch had seen heavy use and abuse so many years ago and then stored away, it was completely restored in 2018, to include main spring, balance, 3rd wheel and jewel, sweep second hand, crystal, back case gasket and timed. This could easily be your every day watch worn with pride and as a conversation piece of WW2 memorabilia.
