HEPPLEWHITE TWO-PART CYLINDER-TOP WRITING DESK
Circa 1800
In mahogany with cedar sub woods. Upper case with a molded cylinder top that opens to reveal interior pigeonholes and drawers. Writing extension below. Lower case with half drawers and tapered legs fitted with brass casters. Origin unknown.
Height 38.5”. Width 36.5”. Depth 22.5”.

Property of a direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson, the contents of the Brick House at Coolidge Point, Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts.
