Herman van Swanevelt (Netherlands) c. 1600-1655. Graveyard on the Appian Way. Etching, c. 1625. Bartsch 57. Dutuit 57, ii/II. A good later (18th century) impression. Initialed in the plate and inscribed "fe" and with the copyright, l.r. Titled in the plate, l.c. Printed in black ink on light beige cream laid paper with small margins, top and bottom and cut to the platemark left and right. 104 x 178 mm. (4 _ x 7 in.) Landscape with Ruias and a Woman with a Parasol. Etching, c. 1630. Bartsch 85; Dutuit 85, iv/IV. A good later (18th century) impression. From the series Différents paysages ornés de Fabrique. With the artist's address in the plate, l.l. Printed in black ink on light beige cream laid paper with thin margins. 169 x 278 mm. (6 5/8 x 10 7/8 in.) Distribution of Bread ot the Poor at the Convent Gate. Etching, c. 1630. Bartsch 93; Dutuit 93, iv/IV. A good, later (18th century) impression. From the series Différents paysages ornés de Fabrique With the artist's address in the plate, l.l. with the copyright address in the plate, l.r. Printed in black ink on light beige laid paper with thin margins. The scene is in the thermal baths of Dioclerias, Rome. 169 x 278 mm. (6 5/8 x 10 7/8 in.) Adriaen vander Cabel (Netherlands) c. 1630-1705. Village by the Waterside. Etching, c. 1670. Bartsch 23. From a series of Landscapes III. Printed in black ink on contemporary laid paper with thread margins and a foolscap watermark. A very good impression of this uncommon print. Partially missing the lower plate with N.
