Each with a number indicating order in the series in the plate, l.r. Rare, as a complete set. Printed in black ink on contemporary laid paper with margins, as issued. 64 x 95 mm. (2 _ x 3 _ ) or smaller. Ex Coll: F.C.Th. Baron van Isenboorn (Blois). Lugt 2610. Wolff et Cohen were the buyers of the Isenboorn collection. Salomon Savery (Netherlands) 1594-1683. Peasant Family. Mounted onto a support sheet tipped onto upper corners. 150 x 99 mm. (5 7/8 x 3 7/8 in.); with Beggar Woman Standing with a Cane. Etching (after Adriaen Brower), c. 1660. Hollstein 71; Wurzbach 48. Inscribed in the plate "Brower inventit', l.l. and "F de Wit excudit" (publisher). From the series Six Peasant Scenes. Printed in black ink on contemporary laid paper with 13 mm. (_ in.margins). Mounted onto a support sheet tipped onto the upper corners. (6 9/16 x 5 in.) 167 x 127 mm. Jan Ossenbeeck (Netherlands) c. 1624-1674. The Merchant of Juniper and Three Beggars. Etching, c. 1655. Bartsch 5; Weigel 5, ii/II; Hollstein 5, ii/II. A very good but later impression. Signed in the plate, l.l. Printed in black ink on cream laid paper with approx. 13 mm. (_ in.) margins.
