Description
"La Promenade dans Le Parc a Sans Soucci" caption is 'chiseled' in the faux marble kneeboard, the scene with identifiable buildings hosts strollers in circa 1810 costume: a Gentleman greets a Lady and her handmaid, a couple walks arm in arm, a single man stands with his back to the viewer, overlooking the pond. Gouache on paper, laid to linen over plywood, with blue painted clamshell frame, the two panels are each 72" x 36". Multiple small chips and tears, scuffs and losses. Could be restored.
