Description
Adams Design Entry Looking Glasses, circa 1780, in delicately carved giltwood, having an oval thin grey mirror with dentelle and bead molded frame, crested by a Grecian urn and draped in bellflower swags, oak leaf and wheat sheaf waist above small eglomise panel of agrarian cherubim, with pendant scalloped bracket, retaining original backing board, 40 1/2" x 15 1/2". Minor repairs and losses, one eglomise is cracked.
