Description
HUDSON VALLEY, NEW YORK ATTRIBUTED DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, ovoid form with beaded neck ring, slightly flared plain rim, nearly flat tab handles, and deeply trimmed foot, Albany-slip glazed interior. Brushed cobalt large "7" to one side and a crude tree-of-life to other side, additional cobalt at handle terminals. Circa 1840. 10 1/4" H, 7 1/4" D rim.
Small filled hole to bottom, no other damaged.
