Description
AMERICAN BURL TREENWARE BOWL, probably ash, oblong handled form with excellent figure, retaining an early natural surface with warm color. Late 18th/first quarter 19th century. 4 3/4" HOA, 15" LOA (overall handles).
Very good overall condition with a few minor age cracks, area of slightly heavier wear to rim, very minor discoloration to interior.
Provenance: The collection of the late Theodore "Ted" and Alvina Breckel, Oley, PA and Winnetka, IL.
