PENNSYLVANIA PAINTED PINE BUCKET BENCH, two fixed shelves with backsplash and shaped ends terminating in boot-jack cut-outs. Retains an early, possibly original, mustard yellow-painted surface. Mid 19th century. 36" h, 37 1/2" W, 14 1/2" D.
Very good overall condition with expected surface wear and discoloration, minor losses to feet.
Provenance: The collection of the late Theodore "Ted" and Alvina Breckel, Oley, PA and Winnetka, IL.
