AMERICAN SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) FOLK ART HOMESTEAD DRAWINGS, LOT OF TWO, watercolor or colored pencil and ink on paper, comprising one featuring a New Hampshire Cape Cod-style house with stables topped by a weathervane to the right and a wagon in the yard, and the other featuring a yellow house with porch surrounded by trees and a schoolhouse-type building in the background, no signatures located. Each housed under glass or UF-3 Plexiglas in a period gilt-molded frame. 19th century. Larger example 8 3/8" x 4 3/4" sight, 10 1/2" x 6 3/4" OA.
Very good visual condition with light to moderate toning; smaller example with a short tear in center of top edge. Frames with wear and small losses. Not examined out of frames.
