2) Series A Certificate Nos. 2701 to 2705, Compagnie de la Riviere Yuba, for Gold Washing in Alta California, Five Shares of One Pound Each, n.d. Central vertical fold with separation, pinholes, tears and uneven edges, else a lovely specimen of a rare French certificate. 10.5” x 8.25”.

3) Certificate No. 79, issued to W. P. Jones for One Share of the Capital Stock of the Herbertville Quartz Mining Company, California, April 2, 1855. Delicate pale blue paper, transfers of shares on verso. Minor fold to bottom right corner, chip at bottom edge, scattered ink spots, else Fine. 8” x 5.25”.

4) Blank Certificate for One Share of the Capital Stock of the Tuolumne Hydraulic Association, not numbered or filled out, Fine. 10.5” x 5”.

5) Certificate No. 52, issued to Morgan Everts for Two Shares of the Capital Stock of the American River, Water & Mining Co., Mormon Island, January 11, 1855. Vignette of Mercury Britton & Rey at center. Handwritten cancellation at verso. Folds, uneven edges, else Fine. 9.25” x 4.75”.
