Description
A Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory Plate from the Farm Palace Banquet Service, St. Petersburg, reign of Alexander III (ca. 1892). Of a circular form with gilt and white scrolls to a lavender ground, the center with the cipher of Tsar AII surmounted by a crown for Grand Duke Alexander Nikolaevich, the future Emperor Alexander II, with blue factory mark to the reverse.Reference: Imperial Porcelain Factory, page 471.
Dimensions: Very good, both plates have small chips on the verso. The front part of the plate is not damaged.
