A translation of the sixteenth century classic. Theodore Low De Vinne (1828-1914) was an American printer and scholarly author on typography. He was one of nine men who founded the Grolier Club in 1884, and was printer to the Club for the first two decades of its existence, designing and printing most of the club‘s publications during his lifetime. Bookplates of two previous owners.
Condition
Some staining and wear to vellum; title page detached and laid in, else very good.
