1. KIM CAMBA. Ballerinas, 1973. 11.1x15.1" gelatin silver print on 11.6x15.5" paper, mounted on 11.6x15.5" original board. Printed 1973. Signed in ink on print recto. Artist address stamp in black ink on mount verso; two stamps of authenticity in black ink, numbered D 61128 and 196; miscellaneous numbers and notations in black ink.

Kim Camba (1927-1999) a Swiss photographer and comic actor, was first a foreign correspondent, traveled to Tibet in 1951, stayed three months and wrote a book about his experiences. He later became a famous European comic actor of the 1950s-1970s both in the US and later in France. He took the still photographs on the set of the film "La mare au diable" in 1972.
He was a good friend of David Hamilton and often exhibited together with this well-known photographer. His photographs are in the collection of the Bibliotheque Nationale in France. Camba passed away in 1999.
