American. 1940s. Painted moulded resin figure and base. 31 1/2 x 11 x 7 1/2". Foxing in the paint exists over much of the body. Scattered paint loss evident on the face, and left side of the body, as well as a little on the back. A very fine hairline crack (approx. 1" in length), exists above the shorts on the left front. Small open hairline crack (approx. 1/4" long), on the inside of the right foot, behind the big toe. Sight hairline crack exists along the lower portion of the base on both front and left sides. No evidence of any restoration or touch-up work.
