This is a model that was never put into production. According to family tradition, when the form was deemed too complicated to mold, Conant brought the model home and his daughter hand colored it with oil paint. This maquette offers a very rare look at Arthur Conant's design abilities.

Brought home by Conant and hand painted by his daughter. Apparently, this shape and shape 2461 ("Shoe"), also a Conant design, were never made even though they appear in the Shape Record book.
