Antique French Jumeau bisque head doll, 20", painted feathered eyebrows above blue glass paperweight sleep eyes, open mouth, pierced ears with drop earrings, marked DEP Tete Jumeau 8 on head, oval decal label on body Bebe Jumeau Diplome d' Honneur, (the body label implies it was a unique honorary award for these French dolls), she has her original "mama-papa" crier with pull strings on side, when pulled makes a soft crying sound (works), (torso was made in two pieces to enable maker to install the crier mechanism, then sealed and taped, may have been retaped at some point over the years).

Condition

Very good condition, slight wear on body consistent with age, surface loss to one finger
