Set of Twelve American Sterling Silver Bread Plates
circa 1890, manufactured by Redlich & Co. of New York, retailed by Spaulding & Co. of Chicago, model number 6106, each with ornate pierced rim with floral and foliate design and incorporating four cartouches with double rose buds, each with central armorial engraving of a lion head with wings within a crown and above the motto Pollet Virtus (Virtue excels).
