Grouping of 5 Pankhurst ribbed pitchers in graduated sizes, all signed "Stone China / J.W. Pankhurst / Hanley", ranging in size from 7 1/2"H x 6"W to 12 1/2"H x 8 1/2"W. The smallest with hairline in base and hairline extending from spout, the largest with a tiny scrape to finish on side hardly noticeable, one of the medium size pitchers with a darkened craze mark on interior of spout, otherwise the others are in very good condition, no damage. The 3 smaller pitchers with tooled rim and acanthus leaves applied to terminals. Provenance: All ironstone from the estate of Jeanne Atkinson who resided in NYC, and was a long time member of the White Ironstone China Association.
