Stanley Morison was a prominent British typographer and printing historian who was a developer of Times New Roman, one of the most-used fonts of all-time. For over 40 years, he was a consultant for The Times newspaper and the Monotype Corporation, where he researched and greatly expanded the company's range of typefaces.
