For your consideration is this birch bark cradle board and basket attributed to the Ojibwa Tribe, circa 1930's. There are two pieces in this collection; the first shows a cradle board constructed from birch bark and wicker frame and buck stitched with pine needle. The second is a basket constructed from birch bark and wicker, with wicker buck stitching to hold it together. The condition of these two birch bark cradle board and basket is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of these Ojibwa birch bark cradle board and basket are 8" x 5 1/4"5 1/4" and 3" x 8 3/4" x 6 3/4".
