Description
Description Circa 1920s. Metal steering wheels marked "Babe Ruth Motor Co." with likeness of Babe Ruth over a Wells Motor Car. In the 1926 World Series Babe Ruth said he would hit two home runs for a sick kid named Johnny Sylvester. The second home run he hit went 515 feet out of Sportsman's Park on Grand Ave and shattered the 5' x 9' Wells Motor Company picture window. Afterward they put up a sign that said "Babe Ruth broke this window" and he did some promotion work for the company. Four are in their original packaging and have not been opened with some oxidation to the bare metal wheel.Condition (Very Good). Size Each: 12" Dia. Each: 12" Dia.
