A GROUP OF TWO WEST AFRICAN "YIRIGE" ANTELOPE AGRICULTURE AND MOURNING CEREMONIAL HEADDRESSES, KARUMBA PEOPLES, NORTHERN BURKINA FASO, 20TH CENTURY, seeds, natural pigment and carved wood, each respectively on wood and metal presentation stands, smallest height: 69" diameter: 29"; largest height: 73" diameter: 23". Provenance: M'Backe Gallery, New York City, New York, Circa 1983. From a Well-Traveled Private Collector, Houston, Texas.
Condition
Some paint losses throughout, minor chips, losses to seed/beads, cracks along wood grain, overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
