Description
A CHINESE FOLDING SCREEN, "XI WANG MU (MOTHER OF THE WEST) IN THE JADE EMPEROR'S CELESTIAL GARDEN," 17TH/18TH CENTURY, watercolor on silk later mounted to pressed board and presented as a three panel screen in the early 20th Century; two panels with inscriptions and red seal, verso painted in red with an old parcel-gilt trim, height: 68", width of each panel: 19", total width: 58".
Condition
Some losses and deterioration throughout, flaking, darkening, overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age.
