A GROUP OF FOUR ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE CAST METAL OBJECTS, EARLY/MID 20TH CENTURY, comprising a cold painted spelter inkwell in the form of a British Naval bulldog with pipe and hat painted partially "HMS..," and tied with an antique ribbon, circa 1900, height: 4", width: 2 1/4", depth: 3"; a comically ironic painted?lead matchstick holder in the form of a dog hiking his leg on a black boot with red painted interior, verso a matchstick strike molded tread, height: 2", width: 1 1/4", depth: 2"; a silver-plated cast metal inkstand with gilt inkwell atop a twisted tree with canopy leaves sheltering a curved beak waterfowl standing with webbed feet, on a stylized rockwork base laid with sea flora, fauna, coral, and scallops, verso impressed "L 5327," height: 5 1/2", diameter: 3 1/2"; and a cast brass camel form trinket box with partial abalone shell base, lacking lid, height: 4 1/2", width: 5 1/2", depth: 2 7/8". Paint losses throughout, surface wear, dents, the bird's crest is lost, old glue and dust/dirt buildup on treetop, the shell box on camel is loose, easily unattached, and lacks lid, some camel legs slightly bent, overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
