Description
A RUSSEL WRIGHT BRASS MOUNTED BAMBOO TABLE LAMP, 1940s-1950s, with a cluster of brass wire strapped cut bamboo stalks mounted with a circular brushed brass cap surmounted by a cylindrical brushed copper neck, raised on a circular brushed brass base and square form black painted wood plinth, fitted for electricity. Height: 31" Width: 8" Depth: 8" Note: Russel Wright (American 1904-1976) this table lamp was reputedly from his atelier in New York. Provenance: From the Estate of Joseph Gregg, San Antonio, Texas.
Condition
Good mid century condition with expected surface buildup, oxidized areas, and normal wear throughout. Wiring is old and needs replacing.
