19th/20th Century
Two chairs and a two-seat bench. In the style of W. Roberts, Lion Foundry, Northampton. Backs cast with allegorical scenes of the four seasons, identified on crests as “Spring”, “Summer”, “Fall” and “Winter”. Beast's-head finials and scrolling arms. Moorish foliage design on seats. Heavy casting bolted together.
Back heights 37”. Bench length 48".

Condition

Faint traces of green paint. Consistent overall rust. Chair widths 24”. Depths 23”. Bench depth 23”.
