Scarce promotional booklet for San Francisco, with text extolling the vibrant nature of the city, its unique history, and provocative scenery. The selection of photographs includes such solid edifices as the Hall of Justice, the D.O. Mills Building, the Flood Building, the New Merchant's Exchange, and the Spreckels Building, all to be destroyed by earthquake and fire two years later; also, two panoramic vistas, one from the top of the St. Francis Hotel, the other looking east from Ashbury Heights, plus a number of other views.
