Ovular porcelain jewelry casket with scrolled relief detail is hand-decorated with enameled floral accents, garland and gilt stippling. Has hinged lid with brass ormolu rim and closure. Made in France during the second half of the 18th century to early 19th century. Some minor wear to bottom rim otherwise in very good condition considering age, with no major chips, cracks or abrasions. Measures approximately 6" x 4.5" inches diameter, by 2.25" height.
