Group of (12) George III items, to include: set of (11) table knives, possibly Moses Brent, London, circa 1800, having sterling silver handles with thread decoration and engraved crest of Rufus King, a vertically raised animal paw holding a square cross, handles joined to original steel blades, the handles hallmarked, with maker's mark ''MB'', four handles lacking date letter, blades stamped ''Wakelin & Taylor'', (handles with various small dents and wear, and some age discoloration to blades); together with a sterling silver skewer of typical form, William Ely & William Fearn, London, England, 1801-02, with blade ridged on both sides, engraved with crest as above, fully hallmarked with maker's mark ''WE,WF'', (point fully intact, little wear to the perfectly straight blade). Skewer 13-1/8''l. Approximate weight 3.3 troy oz (skewer only). Provenance: Ron Klinger, Philadelphia, PA, 1990. Note: Rufus King was born in 1755. He represented New York in the U.S. Senate from 1813 to 1825. He died in 1827. The Rufus King Mansion still stands in Jamaica Park outside of Manhattan.
