A PAIR OF DOCAI PORCELAIN DISHES
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Painted in deep blue under the glaze to the central roundel, rim and exterior with flower and foliate scroll. The central medallion encircled by figural scenery hand painted in polychrome enamels over the glaze showing courtiers with servants on a terrace. Apocryphal six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue to base.
Condition: Good condition with minor manufacturing flaws and wear to enamels, one dish with a chip to rim.
