Photographs – 5 Large Format – 19th Century – (1) 1st is a circa 1890 with an early Victor Cushion or Hard Tired Sprung Front Fork Safety and an Ordinary or High Wheel bicycle to the left. Interesting social scene. Albumen photo’s exterior is 14” x 10-3/4”. (2) Two gentlemen with Bowler Hats, cigars and pneumatic Safetys. Exterior of the matt is 12” x 10”. Circa 1900. (3) THE HERCULES BUGGY CO. of Evansville Indiana. Over 35 difference factory scenes. Some bicycles portrayed. Photograph identified as taken by W. J. REICH, 713 Main St., Evansville, Ind. Reverse in script reads: “ 1906 - Built any shift - 260 buggies a day”. Owner of the photo is identified as “Edward Leistner of Cincinnati Ohio”. Script in another reads “1902” which was probably when the photo was taken. Exterior is 12” a 8-1/2” (4) Home constructed of Stone blocks with a family posed outside. Youth holding dad’s bike along with a dog, mom and dad. Exterior of mount is 10” x 8”. Circa 1900 (5) Railroad Velocipede carrying 5 men. Pump style motion. Exterior size is 8-1/4” x 10”.
