1958 Tour de France posters. Produced by Huret (derailleur producers) for use in bike shops, bars, clubs, restaurants etc. to actively mark the progress of the race. This is a 3 piece set likely printed with rubber mats rather than lithography. Sizes (all somewhat similar) range up to 23” x 22”. First is the total map of France. Second shows France with a chart to list the stage winners. Third allows notes and marking to memorialize happenings. This was the 45th edition of the Tour which ran from June 26th to 19 July 19th. It was 24 stages (starting in Brussels) over 4,319 km (2,684 miles). Bobet and Anquetil were the most noted riders in the field. It was won by Charly Gaul from Luxembourg who rode for the Netherlands/Luxembourg team. Condition is very good and likely as distributed.
