Diné [Navajo] Group of Three Weavings

The hand-woven rug of fine weave has an overall pattern of finely serrated columns, alternating dark grey, black, light grey, and white. White and black stripes finish the ends.

the hand-woven rug of fine weave has a pattern of concentric, serrated, six-sided motifs, that are pointed at top and bottom. The outer shape is white, and then red, black and grey with a white center containing two red Saltillo motifs. Short, serrated diagonal bands in red, black, and grey fill the corners. The border is white and black with serrations on the long sides only.

the hand-woven rug of medium/fine weave has a black elongated and serrated diamond motif at center. It is flanked by serrated bands in brown, white and black that echo the diamond. The border consists of concentric bands of brown, black and white and is serrated only on the long sides.

The rugs are in overall very good condition. Sides A and B equal in coloration and toning.
